I’ve mentioned it a couple times already, but I wanted to put one comprehensive post together about the Comfort & Joy Email Course. I’m going to cover everything you need to know and answer some questions I’ve received. If there’s anything else you are curious about, please let me know in the comments below.
That is my motivation and inspiration behind creating the Comfort & Joy Email Course. The frantic time between American Thanksgiving and leading up to Christmas can be fraught with mile long to-do lists, financial strain, gift giving pressure, family tension, and other stressors.
A regular self-care practice, however, can alleviate some of these issues.
Research has shown that self-care contributes to your sense of worthiness, prevents burnout, improves performance, and even reduces the negative effects of stress. The Comfort & Joy Email Course in particular is geared toward combating those aforementioned holiday-specific issues and more.
The course consists of 21 days of self-care challenges.
From November 27th to December 17th, each day I will send you an email with a self-care challenge to do that day. I go through its benefits and provide some suggestions or resources (when applicable) for how to complete the challenge. The vast majority of the challenges are quick to do, but you will still find some of them challenging. That is how we learn and grow. Plus, trying so many new self-care strategies will give you the opportunity to hone in on the ones that fit best for you. You can continue to implement these strategies long after the course is completed.
Because the holidays are so busy, I know you don’t want just another obligation.
That is why I have created and included a number of printables, templates, and resources for you. The course makes this self-care process as easily-achievable as possible. Here are a few examples of what you will receive. (That the budget is all set up to automatically calculate everything for you. All you have to do is type in the numbers!)
But self-care is hard to commit to and stick with.
When life gets busy for me, I find my self-care practices are usually the first thing to go out the window. A daily email from me, however, will help keep you motivated and on track. Plus, I have come up with all the challenges, so you don’t even have to think about what to do. There’s also accountability in knowing you are participating with a group of people going through the same thing. Let’s do this thing together!
